Job Description
Nulandis is looking to recruit a Materials Handler to work in Paarl.

Nulandis is a developer, manufacturer and distributor of a broad range of complementary products for the Agrochemical market. The company also represents a number of multinational suppliers and key technology partners and works closely with growers in order to provide comprehensive solution to their growing needs. Nulandis has national distribution coverage and has also extended its footprint into Africa and further afield.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare stock for loading onto trucks in accordance with picking slips and delivery notes.
• Load and offload vehicles in accordance with relevant documentation.
• Ensure there no discrepancies between documentation and physical stock movement.
• Report all discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor.
• Ensure no damaged products (bags/drums/boxes) enter or leave the premises.
• Damaged product in the warehouse or on a vehicle to be repacked immediately and ensure product is correctly marked or labelled once repacked.
• Replace damaged products immediately and ensure correctly labelled once repacked.
• Accompany drivers and/or carry out driving responsibilities (where qualified to do so) under instructions from Superiors.
• Keep forklifts and battery charges in good working order.
• Understand and adopt good warehousing and storage practices.
• Upload and work according to all internal and external safety guidelines.
• Comply with all Company Safety, Health and Environmental standards within the Group.
• Adhere to all internal control policies of the company.
• Adhere and Comply with all ISO requirements and standards.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as delegated by Management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12.
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in stores and warehousing.
• A valid Forklift driver’s license.
• Must pass relevant pre-employment medical for forklift drivers.
• Must possess good analytical, communication and organizational skills.
• A sound working knowledge of Safety, Health and Environment practices is essential.
• Must be medically fit to drive heavy duty company vehicles if and when required.
• Must be in possession of a valid heavy duty driver’s license.
