Introduction
Unitrans, a leading logistics and freight company, is looking for an Accounts Officer : Fuel to join our team based in Longmeadow. The successful candidate will ensure a proper flow of documentation, recording and monitoring of all administrative duties at contract level.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- A relevant/ equivalent tertiary qualification will be an advantage
- 2-3 years administration experience in the transport Industry / similar environment
- Must be computer literate
- Basic knowledge of National Environmental Management act
- Basic knowledge of vehicle fuel consumption ad systems
Job Specification
- Ensuring proper km and litres captured on the system
- Accurate day to day pump and tank recon
- Analysing and highlighting irregularities on fuelling systems
- Accurate capturing and reconciling km and litres of contract fleet.
- Reconciling fuel stocks with tank and pump reading
- Ensuring delivery notes and tax invoices to relevant person
- Update shrinkage report relating to fuel.
- Report major incidents, faulty probes.
- Ensuring fuel attendant are knowledgeable in the fuel procedures
- Ensure and checking that all fuel pumps and tanks are operational.
- Weekly safety checks as per Sheq requirements
- Liaising with suppliers for pumps and tank issues.
- Ensuring compliance with audit requirements and the National Environmental Management act.
- Attend to any other pump and tank related queries
