Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
- Grade 12 +3 (National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering)
Experience:
- 2 years related experience
Skills and Competencies
- Computer literacy
- Analytical, assessment and problem solving skills
- Communication
- Radiation worker
- Sample surveyor
- Report writing
- Planning and organising skills
- Analyser experience
- Troubleshooting
- Maintain authorization as per legislative requests
Key Responsibilities
- Verify that analytical chemistry surveillance requirements are complied with
- Supervise senior chemical analysis
- Provide a technical support service
- Maintain quality control requirements
- Maintain good laboratory practices
- Maintain safety and good housekeeping of work area
- Perform any other legitimate activity as required
