Overview

• Management of the Albany Bakery Operations from intake to processing
• Purpose

• Management of the Albany Bakery Operations from intake to processing

Key Responsibilities

• Planning of all resources with the objective of *Meeting production goals
• Throughput Efficiencies management
• Waste management
• Quality Control and Assurance
• Sanitation and Housekeeping
• Safety of all people on shift
• Maintain daily small activity meetings and shop *floor initiatives
• Responsible for MECP (Manufacturing Excellence Customs and Practices)
• Formulating, implementing and maintaining *Standard Operating Procedures

Required Experience

• Must have previous production experience
• Appropriate food industry background
• Must be willing to work overtime / weekends / holidays
• Computer literacy: Word, Excel and Outlook
• Own Transport

Technical/Functional Skills

• Ability to handle pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead and develop a production team
• Ability to function in a team
• Analytical skills
• Detail orientated

Minimum Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent
• A relevant technical qualification – Production Management Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Industry Experience: At least 2 Years in FMCG Production Environment
